Ian H.Fay has joined Angara’s Advisory Board. Mr. Fay is a seasoned investment and merchant banking professional with over 25 years of experience in strategic and financial advisory in Energy & Natural Resources sectors. Mr. Fay commented: “I am excited to join the dynamic and forward-thinking team at Angara, as the company rolls out its groundbreaking Cognitive Cleaning technology to the Energy sector and other industries. I’m thrilled to be an Advisor to the Company and look forward to bringing Angara to my energy contacts in North America.” Ian’s experience encompasses 25+ years of M&A, divestitures, and general strategic advisory work across a broad spectrum of industries and disciplines. He led the Upstream Oil & Gas effort at Headwaters MB; provided independent strategic advisory and consultancy services to companies, boards, management teams, and private equity firms, primarily in the Energy & Natural Resources sectors. Served in the position of CFO for ZaZa Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: ZAZA). He acted in the vital role of sourcing and evaluating all strategic transactions on both the buy-side and sell-side, as well as served as the primary corporate contact for lenders, bankers, and private capital providers, to secure new sources of funding to ensure the company’s continued growth and the successful execution of its strategic plans. Prior to that, Ian was a Founding Partner of Odin Advisors LLC, a full-service M&A boutique, (NYC, Houston, London), which advised leading companies and strategic and financial investors primarily in the Energy & Natural Resources sectors. He also worked as MD and Head of the Energy & Natural Resources Group – Americas for BNP Paribas, and MD of M&A for RBC Capital Markets, concentrating on Energy. Ian also advised multi-national public and private clients across multiple industry sectors as Director of M&A for UBSInvestment Bank. Prior to that Ian was a VP in the M&A group at Prudential Securities, Inc., and an Associate at Rothschild Inc., where he focused on cross-border mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. A recipient of the Morehead-Cain Scholarship, Ian is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he served as a member of the Board of Visitors from 2011-2014. Ian is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Board of the Society for the Performing Arts (SPA) of Houston and a former member of the Board of the Children’s Museum of Houston.
