Angara, already a global player in the decarbonization sector, has just announced the opening of its DecarbonX R&D Center in Italy.

Angara announces the opening of its European DecarbonX Center.

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands – June 27, 2022 – Angara, already a global player in the
decarbonization sector, has just announced the opening of its DecarbonX R&D Center in Italy.
The DecarbonX Center will be used to analyze fouling samples from clients, develop the
company’s proprietary recipes used in the exclusive, client specific, Smart Formulas and
analyze wash-out samples to continuously optimize the company’s Smart Cleaning approaches.
The DecarbonX program was officially launched in March 2022 and is signing up partners and
clients at an accelerating speed. Angara is currently working on some ten projects in numerous
European and Middle East countries to drive decarbonization and deliver significant energy
savings for its clients.
Initially, the R&D activities in the Center will be led by Mr. Luigi Agostini in his role of Senior
European R&D and Laboratory Manager. Mr. Agostini holds a PhD in Chemistry and has
worked globally, including in The Middle East and China.
According to Angara CEO, Petra Koselka, “We have selected Italy as a convenient location
within the EU for the R&D part of our DecarbonX Center because of the number of clients and
projects we have in the South-European region. Initially, we will serve Northern European
Clients from there as well enabled by easy logistics connections”. Petra continued, “Next year,
we envision having DecarbonX Centers in every region where we have clients, including North
America, The Middle East and South-east Asia”.
